Once upon a time there was a man named Hanns Scharff. He was an interrogator for the German Luftwaffe during the Second World War. In 1934 he joined the NSDAP. His task was to gather information to obtain military advantages for Nazi Germany.
Legend says that he was the master interrogator of the German Luftwaffe and revolutionized interrogation techniques. After the war Scharff worked as a mosaic artist in the US. One of his largest mosaics takes up a very prominent position in the Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World in Florida, USA.
„The Story of German interrogator Hanns Scharff“ critically examines Scharff‘s legend. The state of research on Hanns Scharff is not particularly advanced. I therefore reached out to Scharff‘s family, but have not received any response.
